Father Brown future confirmed and it's good news for fans, as guest cast revealed
The cosy BBC series stars Mark Williams as the titular crime-solving man-of-the-cloth.

Father Brown's crime-solving adventures are far from over with the BBC giving an exciting update for the future of the show.
The cosy drama, which sees Mark Williams as the titular detective clergyman, will be returning for two new seasons – with some new faces in tow.
Filming for season 14 of the period drama has already begun in the Cotswolds, with guest stars including Bill Bailey and Clive Mantle set to appear.
Hannah Bristow, who has previously appeared in A Small Light and The Man Who Fell to Earth, is joining the cast as Rita Flint, the new 'no-nonsense' housekeeper for Father Brown.
In season 14, Father Brown finds himself digging into a new string of murders and mysteries in 1955 Kembleford – ranging from magicians to deadly spiders being let loose.

The official synopsis reads: “While it might seem like business as usual, it is far from it, with Father Brown receiving a call from Father Lazarus, fresh from another prison break and hell-bent on revenge.
“The return of Father Brown’s most dangerous nemesis looms, testing the padre throughout the series before building to an exhilarating series finale.”
Alongside Williams, Tom Chambers as Inspector Sullivan, Claudie Blakley as Mrs Isabel Sullivan and John Burton as Sergeant Goodfellow are all returning for the new episodes.
Recurring stars including Nancy Carroll as Lady Felicia, Lex Shrapnel as Father Lazarus, Roger May as Bishop Fox and Kieran Hodgson as Father Lindsey will also be back.

Helen Munson, commissioning editor at the BBC, said of the series: "He's back! We are delighted to be working with BBC Studios again to give the devoted fans two more series of our crime fighting cleric.
"With top-notch writing, fabulous cast and the beautiful Cotswolds as the backdrop it's no wonder that Father Brown continues to be a firm favourite with the audiences all over the world."
Season 14 is currently slated for release in early 2027 on BBC One and BBC iPlayer, with season 15 information to be announced at a later date.

Father Brown is available to watch on demand on BBC iPlayer.
