Ahead of the game's launch, developers from Game Freak and Omega Force held a stream to show off their own island.

It's got plenty of interesting secrets and builds (they are the developers, after all), so it's well worth checking out!

So, for the island code and how to visit Pokopia's dev island, read on!

Pokémon Pokopia dev island: Developers' island code and how to visit

The island code to visit the dev island in Pokémon Pokopia is: PXQC G03S.

Unfortunately, visiting the dev island isn't a matter of just inputting the code and being whisked off to their Cloud Island.

Instead, you'll first need to get your hands on the Mysterious Goggles item. Thankfully, the Mysterious Goggles are very easy to obtain.

First, you need to reach Environment Level 3. Once you've done that, all you need to do is head to the PC Shop and purchase the Mysterious Goggles.

Open up your inventory and put on the Mysterious Goggles. This will open up a new screen that asks you to input a code.

Pop the code above into the box and you'll be whisked off to check the dev island out!

How to copy items from the dev island in Pokémon Pokopia

There are a bunch of cool items to be found on the dev island that you might want to have in your own world, and luckily for you, you can copy them!

When you've found an item you like, press Y to pull out your camera, and take a photo. Make sure your camera has identified the correct item on-screen so you know you're copying the right thing.

Photo in-hand, head back to your world and visit any Pokémon Center, where you'll be able to copy the item from the photo.
