As you would expect, there are many contraptions and doodahs Bond must navigate, and so you’re not stopped in your tracks, we’ve got the 007 First Light fireplace puzzle explained, including which animal symbols to select.

Across the varied missions of 007 First Light, you will also encounter locked safes and jewel cup games, with these sidequests adding to the length of the game, but getting to spend more time with the 007 First Light cast is no bad thing, and you might spot three secret connections between Daniel Craig’s Bond and the new game.

Perhaps we will see Patrick Gibson make the jump to play Bond on the silver screen, or hopefully a First Light sequel at the very least! That might take a while to come to pass, as making 007 First Light was a 7-year mission to reinvent James Bond.

The solution to the fireplace puzzle is super simple! IO Interactive, Radio Times

To solve the fireplace puzzle in the Grand Carpathian Hotel in 007 First Light, you need to choose the right combinations of animals.

In the dining room, there is a kitchen cart close to the fireplace, and this has a torn page on it. You can pick this page up and inspect it closer in the Items menu, and on it, you will see there is an illustration of a Chimaera as well as the fireplace and the symbols.

After this, you can analyse the dining room, and you will spot the symbols you need.

But, if you just want to get straight to it, in no particular order, you need to select the snake, lion and goat.

After this, a secret passageway will reveal itself, and you can continue your pursuit of the Blond Man!
