Summary
American sci-fi series that takes place in the year 2151, halfway between the 21st-century events in the movie "Star Trek: First Contact" and the original 1960s "Star Trek" series. In the wake of first contact with the Vulcans, humans have started to develop their own far-reaching technology under the watchful gaze of the pointy-eared, logical practitioners. As a result there is a growing sense of resentment among some humans, who believe that the species is ready to step out on its own and emerge from behind the Vulcans' shadow. This conflict is shown on-board the Enterprise with Vulcan Sub Commander T'Pol (Jolene Blalock) and the relationship she has with the rest of the crew.
