Phil Lord and Christopher Miller's sci-fi flick Project Hail Mary has won near unanimous praise from both critics and audiences – enjoying a hugely successful box office run since it's release last month.

Adapted from the best-selling novel of the same name by Andy Weir, it has been acclaimed for everything from Ryan Gosling's central performance (including his chemistry with alien creature Rocky) to Greig Fraser's stunning cinematography.

But one other aspect in which the film excels is the music department. In addition to a great score from composer Daniel Pemberton – who also wrote the music for another buzzy current release The Drama – the film includes a number of popular hits throughout the runtime.

Those include everything from star Sandra Hüller's karaoke rendition of Harry Styles's hit Sign of the Times to Ella Fitzgerald's Let's Call the Whole Thing Off and The Beatles track Two of Us.
