This sleepy lost-in-space drama has little to help it stand out from the crowd. On a mission to Titan, a moon of Saturn, to secure the future of humanity, sad-sack astronaut John (Casey Affleck) starts losing the plot. Waking every 90 days from a hibernation cycle, he and his three-man team find unexplained damage to the ship and consider aborting. Then John starts seeing visions of Zoe (Emily Beecham), the woman he left behind, and wonders if the hibernation drugs could have unforeseen side effects. Both director Mikael Hafstrom (1408) and co-writer Nathan Parker (Moon) have form when it comes to claustrophobic genre films. However, their story feels overly familiar and lethargic. Affleck delivers a committed performance, but his moustache is as unconvincing as the love affair between John and Zoe. Worst of all, the uninspired sets and modest SFX mean it never even feels like they're in space.
