The dust has barely settled from the rollercoaster ride of WrestleMania 42 and already attention turns to WWE Backlash Tampa.

This weekend's event in Florida will throw together some familiar faces with scores to settle.

After winning the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania, Roman Reigns defends his new title for the first time against his cousin Jacob Fatu.

There is nothing but bad blood between United States Champion Trick Williams and challenger Sami Zayn, while former allies Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker are now out to destroy each other.

John Cena may have retired from wrestling but, among the other events on the Backlash schedule, the WWE legend will be back in the ring to "break some history-making news".

WWE Backlash will take place on Saturday 9 May 2026.

The event starts at 11pm UK time and runs into the early hours of Sunday morning.
