Norris – the 2025 world champion – tamed the testing new circuit, which had been labelled "crazy" and "very challenging" by his peers in the build-up, to edge out Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli in qualifying.

Whether he can do the same when the lights go green is another question entirely, as Antonelli has been in stunning form this season and extended his lead at the top of the standings with a remarkable win in Monza last week.

It's set to be another thrilling Grand Prix and you feel the Madring is set to live up to its name.

As usual, fans can tune in for extensive coverage of Sunday's race.

Radio Times brings you a full round-up of how to watch the Spanish Grand Prix 2026 on TV and live stream.
