We've reached the business end of the biggest World Cup ever – with the winner set to be crowned later this month.

It has been a real festival of football, with 48 nations involved and 104 total fixtures, and UK viewers have been able to watch every moment for free.
Coverage has, as usual, split between ITV and BBC. That will continue to do so in the quarter-finals and semi-finals but both broadcasters will show the third-place play-off and final.
ITV have been in North America throughout World Cup 2026 at their studio in the shadow of the Brooklyn Bridge.
