The Reds earned their first win under new boss Andoni Iraola on Friday, beating Ipswich Town 2-0, but must now ready themselves for a different challenge.

Atletico Madrid arrive at Anfield on the back of a 3-0 defeat to Athletic Bilbao, which ended their unbeaten start to the 2026/27 campaign.

There is no denying the talent in their ranks, however, and Julian Alvarez could feature despite falling out of favour due to his attempts to force a summer move to Barcelona.

Radio Times has rounded up everything you need to know about how to watch Liverpool v Atletico Madrid on TV and online.
