The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 releases new trailer ahead of summer release date
"Be prepared for what now begins…"
The Legend of Vox Machina is back and just as chaotic as ever – with the gang reuniting in order to take on their most epic opponent yet in season 4.
The anime series dropped its new, full-length trailer before the show’s return on 4 June, with new fights, new friends and new enemies arriving – including the fabled "Whispered One".
Season 4 will pick up a year after the gang defeated the Chroma Conclave in season 3's finale, with Vox Machina going their separate ways to pursue their personal missions for love, family or purpose.
But, according to the synopsis: "The call of adventure is a breath away. When a long-slumbering evil awakens to threaten the realm, they must reunite to take on an epic foe."

Alongside the video, which was also posted across their social media, came the warning: "Be prepared for what now begins…"
Fans have been waiting for the show’s return since season 4’s confirmation back in October 2024, with cast members Taliesin Jaffe, Laura Bailey, Marisha Ray and Sam Riegel appearing in a video to announce the news.
It’s since been confirmed that the show will be ending with season 5, with the team confirming the news in July 2025.
On the announcement, Critical Role’s Riegel and Travis Willingham said in a statement (via MSN): "It's so rare for any television series to get to tell a complete story, beginning to end, exactly as it was envisioned.
"We're so grateful to our fans, the critters, our partners at Prime Video, and the original Kickstarter backers for bringing this show to life, and turning the numbskulls of Vox Machina into animation legends."
Like season 3, Prime Video will be dropping new installments three episodes at a time.
The Legend of Vox Machina season 4 will premiere on Prime Video on 3 June 2026.
