Will there be a Devil May Cry season 3? Latest news and speculation
Will Dante and Vergil be back for more?

Dante, Vergil and Lady are back in business in Devil May Cry season 2, with all eyes now on whether the show will be renewed for season 3.
Season 2 saw the brothers teaming up to defeat the god-like demon Argosax, with Vergil opening up a portal to Makai (hell).
Things didn't quite go according to plan, though, with season 2 ending on quite the cliffhanger.
So, here's everything we know so far about a potential Devil May Cry season 3.
Will there be a Devil May Cry season 3?
While Netflix hasn't confirmed anything just yet, we would speculate that there may be a Devil May Cry season 3.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that season 3 is already in the works, which would not be surprising considering season 2's quick turnaround (there was only a year between the first and second instalments).

While viewership has not yet been confirmed for season 2, we know season 1 was a success for Netflix, racking up 5.3 million views in its first four days of release.
Season 2 has also been well-received by critics and fans, with a 100 per cent score on Rotten Tomatoes (at the time of writing).
Considering all of this, we'd expect a renewal announcement to be on its way.
When could a potential Devil May Cry season 3 be released?
We'd expect a potential Devil May Cry season 3 to be released around mid-2027.
There was just over a year between seasons 1 and 2 premiering, so we'd expect a similarly quick turnaround for a potential season 3.

Who could be in the cast for Devil May Cry season 3?
We'd expect the following to return in season 3:
- Johnny Yong Bosch as Dante
- Scout Taylor-Compton as Mary
- Ian James Corlett as VP Baines
- Robbie Daymond as Vergil
- James C Mathis III as Beowulf
- Dee Bradley Baker as Goliath
- Ray Chase as Mundus
We're not expecting the return of Graham McTavish as Arius after the season 2 finale.
Is there a trailer for a potential Devil May Cry season 3?
Not just yet. Check out the trailer for season 2 in the meantime.
