Though, we don't fancy a Walk-O-Matic.

It's the second year that luxury retailer Barbour has teamed up with Wallace & Gromit for their Christmas advert, with the pairing working perfectly once more.

The advert starts with Wallace & Gromit preparing for a Christmas together, as the beloved pooch plans to give his owner a well-wrapped gift. Before he can, Wallace gives his present first - a Barbour Slykoil Wax Dog Coat, perfect for keeping him walm on winter walkies.

No sooner can Gromit put it on, Wallace insists it's time to go out for a wander - making use of his new invention, the Walk-O-Matic, which does all the hard work walking for him.

It's pretty impressive at first, and can gentle dance over cattle grates while Wallace can sit back, relax and enjoy the views of the glorious countryside.

However, the Walk-O-Matic sadly malfunctions, failing to do well in bad weather, and sends Wallace plunging into the cold snow!

Wallace, dejected from his invention breaking and also freezing, is down in the dumps, so it was the perfect time for Gromit to give his present.

The adorable pooch had gifted Wallace a Barbour Cotton Half Knit Zipped Jumper, which was just the trick to warm him up.

The pair decided to leave the failed invention in the snow and head home for some lovely turkey.

Jamie McCall, Global Marketing Director at Barbour, said: “We’re delighted to be continuing our creative partnership with Aardman. Barbour and Aardman share a distinctly British heritage, a passion for craftsmanship and an appreciation for the attention to detail that make something truly special.

"Wallace & Gromit resonate across generations, bringing such warmth, charm and humour, making them the perfect characters to celebrate Barbour’s iconic tartan this festive season. This year’s film beautifully captures the joy of giving, the magic of Christmas and those little moments that bring people together. Even when things don’t exactly go to plan, but everything works out wonderfully in the end!”

Nick Park, Creator of Wallace & Gromit, added: "Like Wallace and Gromit, we can't help getting totally wrapped up inChristmas, and we're so excited to present the duo again, this time wrapped up inBarbour for their winter walkies. We hope it warms the cockles and brings a giant Wallace smile. I'm sure Yule love it!”

“Once again, it’s been an absolute joy to work with iconic British brand Barbour, and we hope you love this year's festive romp where Wallace & Gromit enjoy the fresh air of a Christmas Day stroll," said Steve Harding-Hill, Creative Director of Short Form & Commercials at Aardman. "Of course, their rollicking ramble goes wrong, and it’s left up to Gromit, with the help of Barbour, to come to the rescue!”
