Take Me Out, the beloved matchmaking show that gave Saturday nights its "no likey, no lighty" catchphrase, could potentially be making its way back to TV screens.

According to The Sun, producers are said to be developing a fresh version of the ITV dating show and want a woman to replace original host Paddy McGuinness, with Emily Atack, Olivia Attwood and model Leomie Anderson all said to be among the names in the frame.
A source said: "Take Me Out was absolutely huge in the 2010s and was a stalwart of the primetime light entertainment schedule.
"Execs at Fremantle, the production company behind the reboot, want to ensure it has the same cheeky tone as the original... Plans are in development now and talks are underway with streamers including Netflix but the landscape of TV is ever-changing, so the reboot could take a number of forms."
Radio Times has approached Fremantle for comment.

Take Me Out first launched in January 2010, with McGuinness at the helm for 11 seasons, up until 2019.
It saw the host guide a succession of single men down the "Love Lift" to be judged by a panel of 30 women. The women switched off their lights if they weren't interested, and any suitor who kept a light shining could pick a date at the show's "Isle of Fernando's".
McGuinness has previously suggested the show "couldn't be made today", explaining on the Table Manners podcast that "we live in a very strange time where if you’re saying something jokey or something not serious or whatever, it gets taken out of context, put online, and there’s a spin on everything".
He said: "‘And I think Take Me Out, because it was so kind of pure, lovely, fun and on a Saturday night, and we had a laugh – that was of its time. I think if you did it now, I hope I’m wrong, but I think if you did it now, there’d be that many bloody things going, oh, you can’t do that. You can’t say this and take things out of context and what have you.
"Because essentially, it’s a family Saturday night entertainment show."
