They were unveiled alongside confirmation that the detective drama's third season will land on Acorn TV on Monday 5 October 2026.

The new episodes will also air for free on U&Drama in the new year.

The new run brings three feature-length, 90-minute episodes, led once again by the Silent Witness star as former British spy Sylvia Fox, now mentally and physically recovered from the abduction that closed season 2.

While lingering questions about her ordeal remain, she is settling back into the rhythm of her new life in Italy, and her relationship with Carabinieri captain Giovanni Riva (Giovanni Cirfiera) continues to deepen.

She is soon drawn back into danger through a series of complex investigations, including the murder of a local winery owner and the mysterious death of a young man found in the bed of a prominent power couple.

As each mystery hits closer to home and forces Sylvia to confront uncomfortable truths, she suffers a devastating loss – and someone from her past comes back to haunt her.

That someone is Sylvia's ex-husband Adam, played by Jamie Bamber. Bamber is best known for Battlestar Galactica and Beyond Paradise, and recently joined EastEnders as new character Ned Hawkins.
