Hitman always loved DLC, so it's no surprise to see 007 First Light DLC releasing so soon after launch!

First Light has a stronger focus on story than IO Interactive's other games, so its DLC looks a bit different to what we're used to.

But we are getting some DLC for 007 First Light, and here are all the details on when it comes out and what it's all about.

When is the 007 First Light DLC release date?

The first major 007 First Light DLC was released on 1 October 2026.

This was the Extended Operations DLC, which adds New Game Plus, Photo Mode and a few other new features to game.

Beyond this, we know that a story DLC is coming at some point in the future.

The new mission will focus on Bawma, the pirate king of Aleph played by musician Lenny Kravitz, who requests help from Bond specifically.

While we don't know exactly what the story will entail, plenty have speculated that Bawma will ask Bond to find his missing sister, Harmony, who he has spent years searching for.

The Bawma DLC mission is currently the final part of a six-step year one content roadmap.

According to IOI chief development officer Véronique Lallier, post-launch content is something that the team has done "very successfully with Hitman," so it's no surprise to see it in First Light too.

"For us, the way we see things is: launching the game is just the beginning, and it's important for us to learn and listen to the feedback of the players and everybody and see, okay, how can we do it better?" she said.

"What should we do more? What should we do less? And that's something we've been doing with Hitman [for] over a decade with World of Assassination, and we're going to definitely try to bring more content."
