But behind the showbiz sparkle, we'll hear how Anton went through many years of struggle, some of which he speaks about for the very first time

There’s a lot of laughter – and a few tears – when Kate Garraway chats to Strictly’s Anton Du Beke for the first episode in this latest run of her chat-show series. Asked what he would like as his epitaph, he quickly jokes “God I’m knackered!”. Whether that’s a reference to being a dad to twins or his relentless work ethic isn’t clear.

But, although there was no sign of this in our ten-minute taster of his interview, he also opens up about his personal life. “Many of the things we talked about, he hadn’t really talked about even with his close family,” she reveals. Future guests include Ruby Wax and Omid Djalili.
