Summary
"Boston Legal" is an American legal drama created by David E Kelley ("Ally McBeal", "Chicago Hope", "Harry's Law"). It is a spin-off of "The Practice" (also created by Kelley) and follows the activities of Alan Shore (James Spader) at the legal firm of Crane, Poole and Schmidt. Shore is a brilliant lawyer who is not above using unethical means, including computer hacking, blackmail and bribery, to get the results he wants. Shore works alongside senior partners Denny Crane (William Shatner) and Shirley Schmidt (Candice Bergen). Both Spader and Shatner won Primetime Emmy Awards for their roles on the show. It premiered on Sky Living in 2005 and ran for five seasons.
