Described by Netflix as "a raunchy romantic comedy about a secret office romance and the trouble two workaholics get in when they start thinking with their hearts", the film has been confirmed for a release date of Friday 5 June on the streamer.

The cast also includes major roles for GLOW's Betty Gilpin and Edward James Olmos – the latter of whom will be playing the father of Lopez's character, almost 30 years after he did the same in 1997 musical biopic Selena.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that former Doctor Who star Jodie Whittaker would be one of many big names in the starry supporting cast, with others including The West Wing's Bradley Whitford, Arrested Development's Tony Hale and comedian Amy Sedaris.

In the trailer, we learn that J-Lo's character is something of a feared boss – with Goldstein playing a new lawyer at her airline company who is warned of her terrifying nature by his new colleagues.

But it looks like the pair instantly get on and are soon sharing in a passionate romance, albeit one which they are keen to hide from their co-workers, with J-Lo saying: "If we get caught, it could destroy everything I've built."

There's also a brief glimpse of Whittaker – who appears to be playing the incarcerated sister of Goldstein's character – at the end of the trailer.

You can watch it in full below:

Speaking about the film earlier this month, Goldstein explained: "Every day I come to work to do a romcom with Jennifer Lopez and this incredible cast, and I expect people to jump out and tell me I’m being pranked."

He added: "[It] hasn’t happened yet, so maybe this is real?”

Goldstein is best known for his role as Roy Kent in Ted Lasso – on which he also served as a writer – while he also is the co-creator of Apple TV+ comedy-drama Shrinking and has a role in that show alongside Jason Segel and Harrison Ford.

As for film, he was a co-writer of the sci-fi romance All of You, in which he starred alongside Imogen Poots.

Office Romance will be released on Netflix on Friday 5 June.
