4 Fast & Furious TV shows confirmed by Vin Diesel in major franchise expansion
We’re getting not just one but FOUR series!

Four TV shows set in the Fast & Furious universe are in development at Peacock, franchise star Vin Diesel has announced.
The long-running movie franchise, which began in 2001 with The Fast and the Furious, is set to come to an end with the upcoming final instalment, Fast Forever, which is slated to be released in 2028.
But while the Fast & Furious saga is ending on the big screen, it'll soon be getting the TV treatment, according to Diesel.
Speaking during NBCUniversal’s Upfronts presentation in New York City on Monday (11 May), the actor, who has played Dominic Toretto in almost every Fast & Furious movie, said: "For the last decade, we have realised that the fans have wanted more."
He continued: "They wanted us to expand the legacy characters, their stories. And for the last decade, the desire has been for us to enter the TV space that Fallon has mastered."
He added: "And I had to wait till it was right… It became right when Donna Langley started to oversee it all, because that’s when I knew that the integrity of the characters, the international appeal, what makes us all feel like family would be protected in the TV space…
"The news that I have here today is that Peacock is launching four shows from the Fast & Furious universe."
However, while Diesel said there are four series in active development, according to The Hollywood Reporter, there is only one.
Diesel will executive produce the series, along with Sam Vincent, Neal Moritz, Pavun Shetty, Jeff Kirschenbaum and Chris Morgan, while Mike Daniels and Wolfe Coleman will serve as co-showrunners.
Plot details for the show are currently being kept under wraps.
