"It all kind of seems beyond our control," opines Leonardo DiCaprio, as he introduces this National Geographic feature on climate change. Embarking on a journey of discovery, from the Canadian set of The Revenant to the Arctic Circle and beyond, the Oscar winner uncovers sobering truths while spending time with President Obama, Harvard professor Greg Mankiw and even the Pope. Impassioned Indian environmentalist Sunita Narian makes the biggest impression, though, challenging the US to "put your money where your mouth is" as she voices concerns for her poverty-stricken countrymen. The result is an emotional film, modestly directed by Fisher Stevens, that examines the issue on both a highly personal and global scale.
