Britain's hopes at the French Open 2026 have been crushed after the only remaining British player exited the tournament.

Katie Boulter suffered a loss to 28th seed Anastasia Potapova in the second round on Thursday evening (28 May), becoming the fourth British casualty of the competition.

Francesca Jones's tournament was ended by 27th seed Marie Bouzková on Wednesday, while Emma Raducanu was beaten by clay court specialist Solana Sierra earlier in the week.

Tuesday saw Cameron Norrie, the only seeded Brit at the French Open 2026, withdraw due to injury against Daniel Vallejo.

Jacob Fearnley was also beaten by Juan Manuel Cerundolo, which, with Jack Draper absent due to injury, means none of the men made it to the second round.

Roland-Garros has, historically, not been a happy hunting ground for the Brits, with Sue Barker the last British player to win a singles title at the French Open, exactly 50 years ago.

Radio Times brings you the full round-up of British players at the French Open 2026.
