The NFL Draft returns this week for its 2026 edition – with the future stars of the gridiron set to discover their league landing spots.
Once a year, all 32 franchises get their chance to recruit the best players from the college game in a bid to bolster their roster and build for the future.
It is the result of years of scouting, thousands of hours of tape, countless mock drafts, and weeks of pro-days, work-outs, and player interviews. Dreams will be realised and, often, there is drama to match the events of the postseason.
The Tennessee Titans used the 2025 first pick on Miami QB Cam Ward. This year, the Las Vegas Raiders will start us off and are expected to go for Indiana passer Fernando Mendoza.
There will be extensive coverage across all three days for viewers this side of the Atlantic – and the good news is that they can tune in for free this year.

How to watch NFL Draft on TV and live stream in UK
The NFL Draft 2026 takes place each evening from Thursday 23 April 2026 until Saturday 25 April 2026 in local time. It will be shown live on Sky Sports Action and Main Event.
The event starts at 1am in the early hours of Friday 24 April 2026 in UK time, with a full build-up show ahead of each round.
Sky Sports can be added to any Sky TV package for just £22 per month for all nine sports channels, or you can pick up the complete sports package plus Netflix for £35 per month.
Existing Sky Sports customers can live stream the Draft via the Sky Go app on a variety of devices.
You can watch the Draft with a NOW Day Membership for £14.99 or a Monthly Membership for £27.99, all without signing up to a contract.
NOW can be streamed through a computer or apps found on most smart TVs, phones and consoles. NOW is also available via BT Sport.
How to watch the NFL Draft for free in UK
Fans in the UK can also tune in to watch the NFL Draft for free on NFL Game Pass via DAZN.
All you need to do is sign up for a free DAZN account to watch all three days of coverage from Pittsburgh across a range of platforms.

Each round of the NFL Draft will be preceded by full live build-up shows to be broadcast on Sky Sports Action.
