Saturday night's Halloween bout between Christian Mbilli and Canelo Alvarez could have scary consequences for the losing fighter.

Mbilli, who is defending his WBC world super-middleweight title for the first time in Riyadh, risks leaving empty-handed should he suffer defeat at the hands of the Mexican superstar.

A loss for Alvarez, meanwhile, could be even more costly and spell the end of his remarkable career at the top of the sport.

The 36-year-old – a bona fide boxing legend – is fighting for the first time since he was beaten by Terence Crawford last September, but faces a tough test against his unbeaten opponent.

Boxing fans have to savour every time Alvarez steps into the ring and this is no different. Luckily, there is extensive coverage throughout the evening.
