The pair have been unable to keep their hands off one another for weeks, despite the fact he's engaged to marry Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).

She even almost caught them in the act when Priya propositioned Max in The Arches, dropping her coat to reveal that she was naked. They were stunned to hear Cindy and daughter Lauren Beale (Jacqueline Jossa) approaching, and had to think fast to keep their secret under wraps.

Despite her scheming, Cindy is blissfully unaware. Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara), however, is adamant to track down the man that Priya has been seeing and kill him.

However, fortunately for Max, it wasn't Ravi who uncovered the infidelity in today's episode.

Cindy had taken pity on Jean Slater (Gillian Wright), who has been struggling financially since ex-boyfriend Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) moved out and daughter Stacey (Lacey Turner) jetted off to Brazil. As a result of her monetary woes, she's months behind on rent.

With landlord Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) breathing down her nose, Cindy offered Jean some work cleaning his flat.

However, she got more than she bargained for when the noise of a commotion led to Priya being discovered after another secret tryst with Max!

But what will Jean do with this information?

Meanwhile, across the Square, Peter Beale (Thomas Law) was struggling with the prospect of losing wife Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa), amid her dodgy business partnership with Mark Fowler (Stephen Aaron-Sipple). Peter has no idea that the pair have also kissed.

Cindy, unaware of her own relationship issues, attempted to support her son. Lauren then clashed with dad Max, and Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) urged her cousin to be honest about her feelings for Mark.

Conflicted, Lauren requested one final meeting with Mark – where she asked him to prove how much she means to him by leaving Walford.

What will Mark do?
