Star Trek: Strange New Worlds trailer reveals Paramount+ release date
Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding and Paul Wesley unveiled the new trailer at CCXP Mexico.

As we approach the fourth season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which will also be the show's penultimate run, a first look trailer has been unveiled which has also revealed the season's premiere date.
Season 4 will officially debut on Paramount+ on Thursday 23 July, with new episodes being released weekly. That means the final instalment in the 10-episode season will arrive on Thursday 24 September.
The trailer was unveiled by cast members Rebecca Romijn, Ethan Peck, Celia Rose Gooding and Paul Wesley, who were at a presentation for the series at CCXP Mexico.
The short clip features hints towards plenty of stunning new space adventures (including one with dinosaurs!) and ends with Paul Wesley's James T Kirk saying those immortal words: "Let's boldly go".

The synopsis for Strange New Worlds season 4 says that it will see "the crew of the USS Enterprise - led by Captain Christopher Pike - embark on a series of thrilling and emotional adventures across the stars".
The synopsis continues: "As they journey to strange new worlds, they will battle inner demons and external threats, encounter colourful new characters, reunite with familiar faces and confront terrifying aliens. Through it all, they strive to embrace a bright, hopeful future."
Thankfully for fans, this won't be the final run of the show. In fact, it has already been confirmed for a shorter, six-episode fifth and final run, developments for which have already been coming through.

For instance, we already know that iconic, classic characters Dr Leonard 'Bones' McCoy and Hikaru Sulu are set to appear, with Thomas Jane and Kai Murakami taking on the roles.
They are only expected to appear in the show's very final episodes, but it certainly sets up a thrilling last ride for Captain Pike and his crew, before he hands the keys to Kirk.
