Re:Zero -Starting Life in Another World- season 4 is preparing to return after leaving Subaru and his anime companions in an increasingly desperate position.

The first half of the fourth season, titled the Loss Arc, ran for 11 episodes between April and June 2026, following the group’s dangerous journey through the Auguria Sand Dunes towards the Pleiades Watchtower.

However, the season is not finished yet. Part 2, officially adapting the light novel’s Recapture Arc, will begin from a specific release date in August and take this part of the story’s remaining eight episodes.

Re:Zero season 4 part 2’s release date is Wednesday 12 August 2026, which is when it begins airing in Japan — as confirmed by Crunchyroll in June, with each episode set to drop the same day each week.

As revealed via the anime’s official Japanese website, the earliest television broadcast is scheduled for 10pm JST on AT-X, while episodes will air on Tokyo MX from 11pm JST. Japanese streaming service ABEMA will also carry episodes every Wednesday from 10:30pm JST.

Although Crunchyroll confirmed part 2 will start streaming on 12 August, its Summer 2026 schedule currently lists the precise international airtime as TBA. If the actual airtimes in other territories end up being significantly different to the converted JST airtimes, we’ll update this guide right away.

How many episodes are there in Re:Zero season 4 part 2?

Re:ZERO season 4 part 2 is set to have eight episodes, which was also confirmed via the anime’s official Japanese website.

With the Loss Arc containing 11 episodes, this will bring season 4’s overall total to 19 episodes across its two parts. Assuming the weekly schedule continues without interruption, the season 4 finale should therefore air on Wednesday 30 September 2026.

The Recapture Arc will continue the struggle surrounding the Pleiades Watchtower, as Subaru attempts to recover what has been taken from him and his allies. Following the effects of Gluttony’s Authority, Rem remains asleep, Crusch has lost her memories, and Julius has had his name erased from the world.

Where can I watch Re:Zero season 4 part 2?

In the UK and US, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- season 4 part 2 will be available to stream on Crunchyroll.

The platform has included the Recapture Arc in its Summer 2026 line-up, and the first three seasons and the completed Loss Arc are also available through the streaming service, giving viewers time to catch up before Subaru’s story resumes.
