Love Island bombshell Tommy Murphy has had a messy journey in the villa so far.

The Geordie was originally coupled up with Ellie and things seemed to be going well between the couple until he started exploring connections with Priya and Namibia, with whom he shared a kiss.

Bombshell Halle then chose to couple up with Tommy when she entered the villa, stealing him away from Ellie and leaving the trio in a turbulent love triangle.

However, this was short lived as after a recoupling vote, the rest of the cast chose to save Tommy and dumped Halle from the villa after only a short stint on the show.

Now, Tommy is coupled back up with Ellie, right back where he started, but she is not impressed and things are very rocky between them.

Who is Tommy Murphy?

Tommy Murphy is a builder from Newcastle whose main goal in the villa is to find love after not being so lucky while on the outside.

"Outside the villa, I meet a lot of girls through work, but I think I’ve got a bit of a mental block when it comes to relationships and committing properly," he said.

"Being in the villa, where you can’t really escape and you’re fully immersed in it, could actually be the perfect environment for me."

And Tommy is ready for the competition that Love Island may bring, explaining: "Someone always wants to be the loudest person in the room, and I’m usually somewhere in the mix. I think competition makes things more exciting. You wouldn’t want it to be too easy."
