The series, which is being described as a “glossy, sun-soaked” drama and is based on the best-selling book series, will debut in July on Sky and NOW in the UK and Ireland.

The plot follows Hollis Shaw (Garner), a famed cook and best-selling author known for her delicious recipes and warm demeanour.

However, when she suffers a devastating loss, the cracks in her picture-perfect life soon begin to emerge - her strained marriage and complicated relationship with her daughter, and her need for validation from fans.

Hollis decides to host a soul-searching weekend away at her house on Nantucket with four friends from different stages of her life, during which boundaries are pushed and secrets soon bubble to the surface, leading to a getaway like no other.

The trailer gives fans a first look at Chan (Humans), D'Arcy Carden (The Good Place), Regina Hall (Girl's Trip) and Chloë Sevigny in action as the four friends joining Hollis on the weekend away.

"He's gone, and now you have to live," Chan's character Gigi tells Hollis at the start of the trailer, before things take a darker turn, with D'Arcy Carden’s character Brooke saying: “Doesn’t she deserve to know the truth, even if it hurts?"

The cast is rounded out by Harlow Jane as Hollis's daughter, Timothy Olyphant, Judy Greer, Rob Huebel and David Denman.

Tory Devon Smith also stars, alongside Josh Hamilton, Roberta Colindrez, West Duchovny and Morrison Keddie.

Behind the camera, Bekah Brunstetter, Sue Naegle, Ali Krug, Jennifer Garner, Elin Hilderbrand, Merri Howard, Beth Schacter and Minkie Spiro serve as executive producers.

Speaking about the acquisition of the series, Criddle said: “We're delighted to be bringing this glossy, character‑led drama to our Sky and NOW audiences this summer, based on the best-selling novel of the same name. With an ensemble cast, led by Jennifer Garner, it is the perfect addition to our slate."
