The eight-episode first season of the Snowfall spin-off arrived on Disney+ in the UK on 9 September 2026, with new instalments dropping weekly rather than in a single box set.

Snowfall alumni Gail Bean and Isaiah John lead the cast of the suspenseful series, reprising the roles of Wanda Bell-Simmons and Leon Simmons respectively.

For Wanda, the new chapter is all about establishing a name in the West Coast's growing rap scene, but Leon is unsure whether he wants to follow the same path.

The synopsis, courtesy of FX, teases: "She will work to put together a ragtag group of geniuses and lead them to the realisation of all their dreams.

"To do it, she must navigate the dangerous overlap of music and street politics, pulling in those closest to her... and pursuing volatile local rapper Artillery (Simmie 'Buddy' Sims III), who is already in a tangle with law enforcement."

It asks: "As ambition, loyalty and survival collide, how much is everyone willing to risk in order to build something lasting in a world that threatens to pull them down?"
