What happened to Lamar Odom?

In 2015, Lamar Odom was hospitalised after he was found unconscious at the Love Ranch brothel outside Las Vegas, following on overdose.
Odom confirmed that he suffered from six heart attacks and 12 strokes, and was later place in a coma and on life support before gaining consciousness three days later, and was left unable to walk.
Recalling the incident in the documentary, Odom explained after waking up from a coma he was "ripping tubes out of [his] neck".
"I still got the scar from it," he said.
In the months after his hospitalisation, his ex-wife Khloé Kardashian explained how she and his loved ones "were determined to get him walking and moving again".
"It probably was harder for her, because I couldn’t say thank you, or I appreciate you. Or couldn’t show any — I wouldn’t even cry," Odom said in the documentary.
Where is Lamar Odom now?

Now 46 years old, Lamar Odom is sober and previously confirmed he had not consumed any drugs or alcohol since 28 January 2026.
"All of my doctors say I’m like a walking miracle because it’s, like, medically impossible for somebody to survive 12 strokes and six heart attacks while in a coma," Odom told USA Today. "And so I just take it day by day, and I’m more than grateful for life."
Odom made a return to television and public life in 2019 when he appeared on Dancing with the Stars and then again in 2022 on Celebrity Big Brother.
His latest reality TV stint was in season 6 of The Kardashians in 2025 when he reunited with Khloé.
"To me, it really didn’t go well. I felt like I was under attack," Odom told Page Six.
He continued: "But, I can’t invalidate her pain and what I put it her through. She was there when I couldn’t hold my bowels. She always tried to do her best, when it came to taking care of me. I know it could be a lot, especially when I was recovering from the incident."
