How to use cheats in Paralives explained

Before we get onto the cheats themselves, we need to go through how to actually use them! Luckily for you, it's simple.

First things first, you need to open up the 'Cheat Commands' console. You can do this by:

• Pressing Ctrl+Shift+C
• Pressing Ctrl+F1

Once you've done the above and opened up the Cheat Commands console, you can type or paste your chosen cheat code into the text bot at the bottom before hitting Enter to activate it.

Certain cheat codes require you to enter a specific value, whether that's a number, a skill, occupation or something else! In those cases, we've denoted the additional values with a capital X or Y.

There are dozens of Paralives cheats available, so if we just listed them all out, it would be impossible to find what you're looking for.

That's why we've split things up into sections so you can more easily find the kind of cheat you're after!

Without further ado, here is a full list of Paralives cheat codes:

Paralives money cheats

• setmoney X – Sets your household balance to the chosen amount of money
• printmoney X – Adds the chosen amount of money to your household balance
• lottery – Adds a random amount of money between 1-100,000 Paradimes to your household balance
• jackpot – Adds 50,000 Paradimes to your household balance
• makeitrain – Adds 10,000 Paradimes to your household balance
• piggybank – Adds 1,000 Paradimes to your household balance
• payday – Adds the selected Para's salary amount to the household balance
• clearbills – Removes all pending bills

Paralives time cheats

• skiptofiveminutesbeforework – Advances time to five minutes before the selected Para starts work
• sethour – Advances time to the chosen hour of the day
• advancehour – Advances time by one hour
• advanceday – Advances time by 24 hours
• clearsun – Sets the sun back to its proper position based on the time of day
• noonsun – Sets the sun's position to where it would be at noon
• dusksun – Sets the sun's position to where it would be at dusk
• dawnsun – Sets the sun's position to where it would be at dawn
• afternoonsun – Sets the sun's position to where it would be in the afternoon
• midnightsun – Sets the sun's position to where it would be at midnight

Paralives character cheats

• showstatuseffects – Lists all status effects for the selected Para
• clearstatuseffects – Removes all status effects from the selected Para
• clearwantcooldowns – Removes want cooldowns from all emotions for the selected Para
• completecurrentwants – Immediately completes all wants for the selected Para
• levelupskill X – Levels up the chosen skill by one for the selected Para
• setskilllevel X Y – Sets the skill level of X skill to Y level for the selected Para
• learnallskins X – Makes the selected Para learn all skins of a certain category
• leveluppersonality – Levels up personality by one for the selected Para
• resetpersonality – Resets the personality of the selected Para to 1
• gainstorycard – Gives the player a story card
• editcharacter – Enters the Paramaker with your current household
• addselectedcharacterstohousehold – Adds the selected NPC Para to your household
• clearallonselectedcharacters – Clears all needs, wants, memories, emotions, interactions and bills from the selected Para
• createcharacter X – Creates a new Para based on the GUID or DisplayName (GUID and DisplayName can be found by typing 'showcurrentcharacterguid' into the console)
• kickcurrenthouseholdintonewhousehold – Kicks the selected Para from the current household into a new household
• kickselectedcharactersfromhousehold – Kicks the selected Para from the current household (Note: This will mean the Para is not part of any household, which can cause bugs)
• showcharacterrelationships – Displays all of the relationships and labels for the selected Para

• changeneed X Y – Increases X need of a selected Para by Y levels
• decayneed X Y – Reduces X need of a selected Para by Y levels
• reliefallneeds – Relieves all needs of the selected Para
• reliefallneedsofallcharacters – Relieves all needs of all Paras
• reliefneed X – Relieves X need for the selected Para
• setneed X Y – Sets X need for a selected Para to Y value
• showneeds – Shows all needs and values for a selected Para

Paralives pregnancy cheats

• getpregnant – Makes the selected Para pregnant
• givebirth – Makes the selected Para give birth
• makebabies – Makes two selected Paras have a baby together
• pregnantstatus – Displays the pregnancy status of a selected Para

Paralives age and death cheats

• setage X – Sets age of the selected Para to X
• printage – Displays the age of the selected Para in the console
• nextlifestage – Moves the selected Para onto the next life stage
• previouslifestage – Moves the selected Para onto the previous life stage
• nextgrowthspurt – Makes selected Para move forward one growth spurt
• previousgrowthspurt – Makes selected Para move backward one growth spurt
• killcharacter – Kills the selected Para
• reviveallselectedcharacters – Revives all selected Paras

Paralives occupation cheats

• addvacationday – Gives a vacation day to the selected Para's occupations
• clearalloccupations – Makes the selected Para quit all their occupations
• addstriketooccupations – Adds a strike to the selected Para's occupations
• clearstrikes – Removes all strikes from the selected Para's occupations
• endworkday – Ends the selected Para's workday. Salary and occupation upgrade points are awarded as normal
• printalloccupations – Displays all occupations in the console
• printallpossibleextraforoccupation – Shows the name of all possible occupation perks for the selected Para's occupation

Paralives fire cheats

• setitemonfire – Sets the selected item on fire
• setselectedcharactersonfire – Sets the selected Paras on fire
• extinguishallfires – Extinguishes all fires in the game
• extinguishselectedcharactersonfire – Extinguishes all selected Paras if they were on fire

Paralives newspaper and mail cheats

• generatemail – Sends mail from the queue
• generatenewspaper – Generates a new issue of the newspaper
• resetmailbox – Removes all mail from the mailbox
• deleteallnewspaperissues – Deletes all newspaper issues

Paralives build mode cheats

• toggleedittown – Enters build mode (Note: this mode is not stable and can cause issues/bugs)
• repairallitems – Removes the 'broken' state from all items in the game
• unspoilallitems – Removes the 'spoiled' state from all items in the game

Paralives debug and misc cheats

• setitemstate X – Sets the state of the selected item to X value
• unstuck – Moves the selected Para to the correct position in the navmesh
• unstuckall – Moves all Paras to the correct position in the navmesh
• aliases – Shows a list of all aliases in the console
• clear – Clears the console
• help – Shows a list of all cheats
• schedule X – Schedules a cheat so that it executes every frame with its output shown in the top-left hand of your screen
• stop – Stops any scheduled cheats
• showcurrentcharacterguid – Shows the GUID of the selected Para
• cancelallcharacterinteractions – Cancels all interactions for all Paras
• cancelallhouseholdinteractions – Cancels all interactions for the household
• cancelselectedcharacterinteractions – Cancels all interactions in the selected Para's queue
• deleteselectedcharacterinteractions – Deletes all interactions in the selected Para's queue
• resetmuseumdonations – Clears all museum donations
• quittomainmenu – Quits to the main menu without saving
• ragequit – Quits to desktop without saving
• save – Saves your game. You can also quicksave by pressing F5
• zipsavefile – Zips the current save file and places it on the desktop.

Paralives performance cheats

• benchmarkfps – Starts an FPS benchmark that lasts for 15 seconds
• fps – Displays the current FPS
• capfps X – Caps FPS at X value
• fullscreen – Sets the game to Full Screen mode
• windowed – Sets the game to Windowed mode
• resolution – Shows the screen resolution
• setresolution XxY – Sets resolution to XxY (e.g. 1920x1080)
• shadowdistance – Shows current shadow rendering distance
• settownbenchmarksoryboard – Runs a benchmark storyboard to test town performance
• vsync – Shows the current vsync level

Paralives console easter eggs

• eightball – Gives a random 'magic eight ball' result
• cat – Displays an image of a cat
• bear – Creates an ASCII picture of a bear
• hotel – Displays the word 'Trivago' in the console
• randomizealldeformations – Randomises a Para without slider limits
• spin X% – Spins a win/loss wheel where X% determines the probability of a win
• okslackbot – Gives Slackbot a shout out
