Directive 8020 codes: Full list of key codes for all doors, locks and puzzles
There are five total key codes to find in Directive 8020, each of which unlocks a different Secret.
For the full list of codes and where to find them, read on!
Locker Room
- Locker Room key code: 13576
The first key code in the game is found in the Locker Room. Leave the room, and head back to the Atrium, climbing up to the top level via the stairs.
From here, use your Utility Strap to open the shutter across from you. Use your Utility Strap again to unlock the door through the window, and then head inside.
Inside, as well as a few Secrets, you'll find a security camera, on which you can see the code for the locked room is 13576.
Carter's PC
- Carter's PC key code: 0828
On the monitor of Carter's PC, you'll find a sticky note with the name "Luna" written with a party hat drawn beside it.
Luna is the name of Carter's daughter, and if you head back into the previous room, you'll find a calendar with Luna's birthday marked on 28 August.
Convert the far more sensible 28/08 date format into the US date format to get 08/28, and you've got your key code: 0828.

Food Storage Room
- Food Storage Room key code: 0402
During the Search quest, you'll come across the Mess Hall. With your Wedge tool, you'll be able to unlock the room by breaking open a door in the Mess Hall to unlock a secret room.
It's the only door you can open with the Wedge in the Mess Hall, so you can't miss it.
On the door frame as you leave this room, you'll find a sticky note on the wall showing that the code for the Food Storage Room is 0402.
Diazepam Synthesis
- Diazepam key code: 168
During the game, you may come across a puzzle requiring you to synthesise Diazempam, a medicinal compound.
In order to create Diazepam, you'll need to combine three chemicals that are found in a nearby cabinet, each of which is marked with a particular number.
The three chemicals in question and their respective numbers are:
- Chloroacetyl chloride: 1
- Ammonia: 6
- Dimethyl sulphate: 8
Combining these three numbers gives us 168, which is the Diazepam key code.
Anomaly Log
- Anomaly Log key code: 3196
While playing as Cernan, and on the hunt for the rest of the crew, you'll come across a screen in Bridge Ops that is locked by a code.
From here, walk through the door on your right and follow this hallway to the cockpit. Here, you'll find a sticky note on the control panel that reads "Anomaly log code. CAIF".
Returning to the keypad, you'll immediately realise that you're required to input numbers. Simply translate the letters CAIF to their order in the alphabet and you'll get 3196, the Anomaly Log key code.
