Summary
"Fake or Fortune" sees journalist Fiona Bruce teaming up with art expert Philip Mould to investigate the origins of potentially valuable works of art. Their sleuthing takes them all around the world as they unravel clues behind stolen and contested works of art. In the opening programme, Fiona and Philip aim to persuade luminaries from within the art world that they have stumbled upon a previously unacknowledged work by French impressionist Claude Monet. It began on BBC One in June 2011.
