Overview
What's life really like for teenagers today? This rather adult teen drama from the producers of Shameless aims to show us. Focusing on a boisterous group of college friends living in Bristol, it's a colourful mixture of sex and drugs, love and betrayal, race and religion, eating disorders and overdoses. Alongside the teenage actors, most of whom are making their television debuts, Skins features a host of more familiar guest-stars - Peter Capaldi, Harry Enfield, Sarah Lancashire, Josie Lawrence, Neil Morrissey and Arabella Weir - as their dysfunctional parents.
