As well as criminal masterminds intent on committing elaborate crimes and grisly murders, the Caribbean island of Saint Marie attracts a whole host of celebrity faces.
Now, we're not saying it's because they want a free holiday on Guadeloupe's sunny shores, but, hey, there's got to be a reason so many famous faces pop up on the hit BBC1 detective drama.
Series five features stars from Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey, Poldark and Doctor Who, plus the likes of Keith Allen and Nigel Lindsay.
