Comedy directed by Judd Apatow, starring Steve Carell and Catherine Keener. When Andy Stitzer makes the mistake of admitting to his workmates that he is less than experienced in sexual matters, they set about helping him to remedy the situation. But for Andy the path to true manhood proves to be a bumpy one.
After producing the delirious Anchorman: the Legend of Ron Burgundy, Judd Apatow made his directorial debut with this break-out (and occasionally gross-out) hit. Steve Carell stars as the titular innocent, a middle-aged salesman at an electronics store. When he betrays his lack of sexual experience to his colleagues (including Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen), they decide to help him lose his virginity. Despite the generic set-up, the movie transcends the raunchier aspects of the plot thanks to its sharp script and Carell's winsome comic turn.
