Reaction to Biophilia will depend on your feelings for its creator. That's true of all concert films, of course. But it's especially true of the eccentric Icelandic singer Björk. There's no middle ground - you either love her or you don't. Filmed in London, Biophilia chronicles the last concert in a two-year world tour that saw Bjork performing a set of songs on the theme of her love of all living things, the biophilia of the title. But that's hard to deduce from whooped and hollered lyrics that are often abstract to the point of incomprehensibility. Musical accompaniments include an all-girl choir, exotic percussion and computer twiddles. Visual trappings include weird stage contraptions and spectacular back-projected films of things both cosmic and microscopic. It's all no doubt breathtaking if you're a Björk fan, but repetitive and rather tough going if you're not. You pays yer money...
