Since 2013, the WWE 2K series has been the wrestling game, and a must-play for any fans of the sport.

And 2K has now begun dropping news about the new instalment, including a confirmed release date.

So, for everything you need to know about when WWE 2K26 comes out, read on!

When is the WWE 2K26 release date?

WWE 2K26 is scheduled to release on 13th March 2026.

For any longtime fans of the series, this is hardly a surprise, as all of the last four WWE 2K games have launched in March, going back to WWE 2K22.

WWE 2K26 platforms

The game will launch on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch 2.

It should be noted that, the Switch 2 version of the game includes a game-key card, like many third-party releases on the platform.

Unfortunately, WWE 2K26 marks the first year that the franchise will not have last-gen support, so PS4 and Xbox One owners are out of luck.

What to expect from Showcase Mode in WWE 2K26

WWE 2K26's Showcase Mode will feature CM Punk, according to an exclusive from Insider Gaming.

The mode will be narrated by CM Punk and feature three different sections of matches, chronicling Punk's career.

The first section will let players replay some of Punk's favourite matches, while the second will feature some 'what if' matches, asking what could have been if Punk had not left in 2014.

Lastly, some fantasy matches will pit Punk against a few opponents that he never had the chance to fight in his career.
