How to win the Treasure Chest Game in Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake explained
The first step is to obtain the Lens of Truth from the bottom of the well in Kakariko Village – this is essential to beating the Treasure Chest game.
Next, find the Treasure Chest shop in Hyrule Market, located near the Back Alley Entrance. To note, the shop is only open at night and as Young Link – which isn’t dodgy at all.
Pay the 10-rupee fee and begin the game, then you'll be presented with two chests. Equip the Lens of Truth to peer inside the chests to find out which is the chest with the key that you need to advance.
Repeat this process throughout the five consecutive rooms. Make it through and at the end of the game you will be awarded with the final prize – a Piece of Heart!
Replaying the game after this reward is claimed will result in 50 rupees, which is still a pretty good prize if you’re trying to save up some cash.
