Halo: Campaign Evolved platforms – Is it coming to PS5?
Halo: Campaign Evolved will release on Xbox Series X/S, PC and PS5.
This makes it the very first game in the history of the Halo franchise to release on a PlayStation console.
Furthermore, during the game's announcement stream in October 2025, Halo community director revealed that all future Halo games would be coming to PlayStation consoles going forward.
However, considering the recent decision to make Gears of War an Xbox console exclusive once more, we don't know whether that will still be the case.

Is Halo: Campaign Evolved a remake?
Halo: Campaign Evolved is a full remake of the original 2001 Halo: Combat Evolved.
The game will reimagine the original missions with new and redesigned levels, including mechanics and weapons from later Halo games.
All story cinematics and audio have been remade, including re-recorded dialogue from Combat Evolved's original cast.
Will Halo: Campaign Evolved have multiplayer?
Halo: Campaign Evolved will have multiplayer, although perhaps not in the way you are thinking.
The game will not feature an online competitive multiplayer mode, like the original game did.
It will, however, support four-player online co-operative multiplayer, as well as two-player split-screen on consoles, allowing players to tackle the campaign in co-op.
The game will also feature full cross-platform play and cross-progression, meaning you'll at least be able to play the game with friends on other platforms.
Is there a trailer for Halo: Campaign Evolved?
Yes, you can check out the trailer from the June 2026 Xbox Game Showcase here:
