Grow a Garden 2 Unicorn: How to get the GaG 2 pet explained

There are actually two different ways to get a Unicorn pet in Grow a Garden 2. These are:

Unicorns can spawn quite rarely in the overworld, but don't last for very long, so you'll need to be quick. The chance of one spawning is 0.71%, so you're going to have to keep your eyes peeled.

If you happen to come across one in the wild, it's worth just dropping whatever it is you're currently doing and purchasing it as soon as possible.

The flip side is hatching Eggs, and while this will save you plenty of Sheckles, it might take you a long old time to get your hands on it.

You can only get Eggs from Guild competitions, so you will have to be a member of a Guild before you can even start hatching.

Coming dead last in a competition will still net you five Common Eggs while the maximum reward is 25 Eggs, so you'll have a fair few chances, and you'll certainly need them.

Hatching a Unicorn from a Common Egg has a 0.3% chance, making it even rarer than a Unicorn spawn in the wild, but considering you'll save plenty of Sheckles and will have multiple opportunities to hatch one, this is probably your best option in the long run.
