If you want to make sure you're winning as many games as possible, then you need the best FC 27 formations and tactics.

4-4-1-1 – Code: 4#Si?84?C&s5

If you know much about the pro scene, then you'll know that this meta tactic is the one that everyone and their dog has been using.

The two lines of four offer a compact defensive line to prevent opposition players from getting through on goal.

Meanwhile, a pacey Advanced Forward up top paired with a playmaking CAM in behind and two Inside Forwards on the wings will be your ticket to goals.

4-4-2 – Code: 75VFE@7BF3v8

Old faithful, the 4-4-2 offers the same defensive benefits of the 4-4-1-1, but with some changes up top.

Instead of a CAM in behind the striker, you'll have a strike partnership up top, staying high up the pitch ready for counter-attacking opportunities.

Their interplay, slotting each other in behind with through balls will net you plenty of easy goals.

4-5-1 – Code: CZcMD%C#M?2D

The 4-5-1 offers even more defensive stability than our other two tactics, overloading the centre of the pitch with three midfielders to dominate the ball and cut passing lanes.

With no CAM in behind the striker, you'll be relying more heavily on your wingers to progress the ball and get crosses into the box.

One Box-To-Box midfielder will act as your box crasher, coming in late to cause chaos in the penalty area.

How to enter tactics codes in FC 27

It's not exactly obvious how to import share codes in FC 27, so here's a quick guide on how to use them in Ultimate Team:

  1. Go to the Squad tab in Ultimate Team
  2. Push L3 to open the Squad Actions menu
  3. Head to Team Management
  4. Scroll to the 'Use Code' screen
  5. Press X/A to import your code!
