FC 26 Icon Swaps: Release date speculation and leaked players

It's that time of year again! Icon Swaps are nearly here for FC 26, and there are some incredible players on offer.

Icon Swaps gives players the chance to earn some incredible players as a reward for completing set objectives. Get enough tokens, and you could have a new star striker.

But when does FC 26 Icon Swaps release, and which players are getting cards? Here's what you need to know.

FC 26 Icon Swaps release date speculation

Icon Swaps will reportedly release in FC 26 on 29th January 2026.

This is according to reputable EA Sports FC leaker Fut Sheriff, who confirmed the news via social media.

As for timings, we expect that the event will go live at around 6pm GMT, which is roughly when most new FC 26 events kick off.

FC 26 Icon Swaps: All leaked players

Returning once more to our friend and leaker Fut Sheriff, we have a list of players set to be made available for the event, and there are some incredible options.

Here is the full list of leaked Icon Swaps players for FC 26, and how many tokens they will cost:

• Xabi Alonso (3 Tokens) – CDM | Spain | 89 OVR
• Gianluca Zambrotta (5 Tokens) – RB | Italy | 90 OVR
• Hristo Stoichkov (7 Tokens) – LW | Bulgaria | 91 OVR
• Gianluigi Buffon (9 Tokens) – GK | Italy | 92 OVR
• Rio Ferdinand (11 Tokens) – CB | England | 92 OVR
• Eric Cantona (14 Tokens) – ST | France | 92 OVR
• Ronaldo Nazário (19 Tokens) – ST | Brazil | 94 OVR

Naturally, most players will have their eyes on R9, with O Fenômeno boasting some incredible stats, including 95 Pace, 93 Shooting and 94 Dribbling, as well as the Finesse Shot and Technical Playstyles.

There will reportedly be between 20-25 Tokens on offer during the event, so players will have to choose wisely which Icons they opt for, as you won't be able to have them all.
