It's nearly time for the release of Deltarune Chapter 5, with the chapter's announcement coming during the recent Nintendo Direct.

Following on from Undertale, Toby Fox's latest addition to the hit RPG is set to arrive as a free update for players who have already bought the game.
So, for all the details on when Deltarune Chapter 5 is set to release and what to expect from it, here's everything you need to know.
When is the Deltarune Chapter 5 release date?
Deltarune Chapter 5 is scheduled to release on 24 June 2026.
Like previous chapters, it will be available for free to players who have already purchased the game.
As developer Toby Fox previously clarified, "You only have to buy the game once – upcoming Chapters will be added as free updates."
While the announcement came as part of a Nintendo Direct stream, Chapter 5 will be launching on the same date on all other platforms.

What to expect from Deltarune Chapter 5
Based on the trailer, there's not a huge amount we can say about what's going to happen in Deltarune Chapter 5, beyond that it will take place during the festival mentioned in previous chapters.
It appears from fan speculation that the 'Dark World' will be created in Asgore's flower shop, with plenty of flowery enemies dotted around.
Furthermore, the description of the trailer also reads, "New adventures are blooming in Deltarune Chapter 5." If that isn't a confirmation, then I don't know what is.
Following the dark tone of Chapter 4, the visuals and tone of what we've seen thus far of Chapter 5 seem rather lighter and more upbeat.
We should also encounter the fifth and final Shadow Crystal during this chapter.
Naturally, most of this is speculation. If you've seen the trailer, then you know as well as us that Toby Fox is keeping his cards close to his chest with this one, so we may just have to wait and see.
