Coronation Street: Johnny Connor is diagnosed with MS

How will Kate react when Johnny insists he wants to keep his condition a secret?

Johnny Connor is to be diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in next week’s episodes of Coronation Street.

The health of the factory boss has been a cause of much concern of late, but despite finally getting his diagnosis, Johnny will be seen trying to hide the truth from his nearest and dearest.

Upcoming scenes see Jonny facing questioning from Kate, only for him to insist that he has an infection and that it’s nothing to worry about.

But when Johnny’s fiance Jenny outlines plans for an action-packed honeymoon, he’s left secretly dismayed and ends up eventually confiding in Kate.

In the episode set to be shown on Wednesday 14 June, Johnny admits that he’s been diagnosed with MS, but reveals that he doesn’t want Jenny to find out out of fear that she’ll have to become his carer.

But later on, while alone in his flat, Johnny will be seen stumbling, hitting his head on the coffee table and passing out unconscious. Will he be found? And will Jenny end up learning the truth?
