Review

A star rating of 2 out of 5.

In probably the worst film in the Rambo series, Sylvester Stallone transforms here from slightly confused loner to the Free World's white knight. Reluctantly giving up his blissfully mystic life in Thailand (hilariously parodied in Hot Shots! Part Deux) to go on one more mission, he seemingly takes on the entire Soviet army in Afghanistan when his old boss (Richard Crenna) is taken prisoner. If cartoon action is your bag, then this has it by the bucketful, but the mindless celebration of carnage leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.
