Batman: Hush

The Caped Crusader has his hands full in more ways than one in this pacey animated adaptation of the hit Jeph Loeb/Jim Lee graphic novel. Just as Bruce Wayne's romance with Selina Kyle (aka Catwoman) is blossoming, the last thing Batman's alter ego needs to complicate his attempt at a "normal" life is for members of the Rogues Gallery (Bane, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Joker) to unleash their particular kind of mayhem on Gotham, especially when a bandaged mystery man appears to be pulling the strings from the shadows. But who is Hush and why is he so keen on torturing our hero at every turn? Purist fans may question some of the changes to the original story but it's still a lively, action-packed affair with friends (Nightwing, Batgirl, Damian Wayne), foes aplenty (add Scarecrow and Riddler to the roll call) and a feisty punch-up with a compromised Man of Steel keeping the intrigue and interest high.
