Smallfoot

A tribe of yeti lives happily above the clouds in the Himalayas, but their first encounter with humans forces them to re-evaluate all they hold dear in this animated feature. Rather too much time is expended on the essentially amiable yetis' foundation lore, which insists that "smallfoot" or human beings don't actually exist - hence putting junior hero Migo (voiced by Channing Tatum) in a bit of a conundrum when he encounters a crashed plane pilot. In effect, this is a children's flick about challenging the precepts of faith, which is intriguing subject matter but perhaps not in this context. It's just about serviceable otherwise, if heavy on the furry pratfalls, though that rap rewrite of David Bowie and Queen's Under Pressure (sung by James Corden) really is abominable.
