Miley Cyrus stars in this mildly diverting action comedy that's aimed squarely at her teenage female fan base. She plays Molly, a sassy private investigator who's assigned by an FBI agent (Jeremy Piven) to infiltrate a sorority house and protect the daughter of a vital witness in a big Mafia case. But first she has to endure a makeover that turns her from a streetwise private eye into an affluent, sophisticated college student (think Miss Congeniality and you have more than a general idea). Cyrus works hard and there are some decent support performances (including a nicely spiky one from Kelly Osbourne), but the result is all rather tame and derivative. And there's no sign as yet that the perky but otherwise unremarkable Ms Cyrus is going to find it easy graduating from teen star to grown-up actress.

Plot Summary

A teenage private eye is hired by the FBI for a special assignment. She must pose as a student at an exclusive college sorority to protect one of the members, whose father is testifying in the trial of a gangster. However, fitting in with the wealthy campus in-crowd proves a tougher challenge than fending off Mob hitmen. Comedy, starring Miley Cyrus and Jeremy Piven.
